I stayed in perfect, large room with a luxury bathroom and balcony, for instance. Its personnel was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and knowledgeable, nothing to complain about. The location was excellent, at a moderate distance from a modest museum.

The staff here is very attentive and extremely friendly, offering free wake-up calls and ironing services.

Great Location Near the Ocean and Dining Options

This place is conveniently located near the ocean, making it perfect for waterfront strolls 🌊. Just a quick 5-minute walk away, there's a restaurant called Burgers & Ribs where you can grab a bite to eat.

The hospitality of the staff and the location of the hotel its walking distance from the malecon. Everything is pretty much walking distance from there. Except the beach!

The rooms here come with a standard bathtub equipped with jets, which we really enjoyed.

The place is beautiful and conveniently located, has parking, but not if you arrive late. The staff was attentive and they came every time we reported something not worth it.

The water in the tub didn't drain, so we had to do it manually after showering. The AC stop working suddenly and the weather was very hot. There is lots of noise from all the clubs. And for the price we paid I think the condition of this hotel is poor. I was expecting better. And they didn't even offer a discount for all the things that didn't work.

Cozy double room with a wake-up service was a nice touch 🌅. The beds were super comfy and we had a great view of the Harbor. Plus, this place is right in the heart of town, super convenient!

Best Western El Cid is a safe bet for a tourist who is unfamiliar with Ensenada. They have a US website where you can get a confirmed reservation. Cleaner than most Baja hotels. Secured parking. Desk staff is biligual. Bellman is courteous. They are in walking distance of the bay, shopping, restaurants and bars.

Price a little higher than other hotels in the area. Rooms on the front side of the hotel offer a view of the tourist street but can be noisy with party people.
